The IUCN World Conservation Congress will take place from 3-11 September 2021 in Marseille, France, in a hybrid format, which will enable a large number of participants to join even if they cannot travel to France. Visit the Congress website to learn more information on how to register and engage


BIOPAMA will be showcased in various events at the WCC and will have a permanent presence at the 'Vital Sites for a Protected Planet' Pavilion in the Exhibition Space at the World Conservation Congress. 

Below we have compiled a selection of events relevant to our region and protected and conserved areas, including events related to BIOPAMA, the IUCN Green List, Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs), World Heritage and many more. This list is not exhaustive and we encourage you to check out the Programme on the IUCN Congress website too.
