The Regional Resource Hub (RRH) is a knowledge hub for the Eastern and Southern African region that supports better decision making for fair and effective management and governance of protected and conserved areas. The Hub compiles and analyzes relevant data and provides information to support field interventions, policies dialogues and decision-making processes at local, national and regional levels.
The Regional Resource Hub offers information management systems and tools, capacity building, knowledge sharing products and communication activities aiming to reinforce the management effectiveness and governance of protected areas and surrounding communities in Eastern and Southern Africa region.
The knowledge generated through the use of the RRH tools and services is presented in different formats that support planning and decision making and the capacity development endeavors of the RRH. They include story maps, success stories, situation analysis, country and protected area reports, technical briefs and other guiding publications.
